Allergan to Lay Off 117 from Kythera Biopharmaceuticals
Westlake, California-based Kythera will be laying off 117 employees effective Nov. 30. According to an article in the Orange County Business Journal, Allergan is in the midst of a series of layoffs to increase profit margins, and has cut more than 1,000 jobs at its offices in Irvine as well as nearly 200 jobs in Goleta and Carlsbad.
