Mobile isolators drive Kentucky’s new sterile manufacturing “Facility of the Future”

Today, the $17-million Center for Pharmaceutical Science and Technology was unveiled at the University of Kentucky (click here for a "virtual tour").  The new facility will provide analysis, formulation and manufacturing of sterile products for early-stage clinical trials. The Center's leadership say that the facility will be the first to make cytotoxic and noncytotoxic drugs at the same time, in the same room.  Enabling that will be custom-built mobile isolators. -AMS
