Have you checked out Scivee TV, often described as a "YouTube" for scientists, which gives researchers a chance to discuss their research in "pubcast" and "postercast" videos? (Link here).  Found out about this a bit late, on the plane back from BIO, in an article in Bio IT World.

Have you checked out Scivee TV, often described as a "YouTube" for scientists, which gives researchers a chance to discuss their research in "pubcast" and "postercast" videos? (Link here).  Found out about this a bit late, on the plane back from BIO, in an article in Bio IT World.

Sounds like a great communications tool, for presenters and audience alike.  Content ranges from videos geared to generalists and kids of all ages, to highly specialized videos designed for a peer audience.

Can't wait to dive in. 

Today brought news that online video's popularity is growing at an astounding rate,  so, like it or not,  everyone must become comfortable being on or creating video, even those who typically dodge the lens.
