Merck Lays Off Saphris Sales Team
NJ-based Merck filed a WARN notice indicating the layoff of 152 Saphris sales representatives in response to the drugmaker's early December sale of the rights to its antipsychotic drug to Forest Laboratories for $240 million.
The layoffs are based in Upper Gwynedd, PA and will be effective Feb. 3, 2014.
