GSK global HQ will return to London

Dec. 12, 2022

GSK will be moving its global headquarters back to central London in 2024, the company shared with media sources.

The multinational pharma giant will relocate from its current site in Brentford, West London — where the company has been since 2002  to new offices on New Oxford Street close to Tottenham Court Road

The move to central London offers easy access to GSK's global R&D hub in Stevenage, and brings the HQ closer to the company's Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Hub in King's Cross.

The move comes amid GSK's demerger of its Consumer Healthcare unit. The new company – unveiled as Haleon earlier this year — is on track to be launched in mid-2022. A joint-venture between GSK and Pfizer, Haleon will bring together the two companies’ portfolio of leading consumer health care brands such as GSK's Sensodyne, Panadol and Voltaren, and Pfizer’s Advil, Centrum and Caltrate.

GSK's new six story building is under construction and due to be completed next year. It will be home to around 3000 workers, including the GSK global leadership team.
