Encoders Now Assembled in the U.S.

Turck Inc. has announced that its Kübler by Turck 2-inch encoders are now assembled in Minneapolis to provide extremely short lead times on these popular products – less than one week for encoders with 1024 pulses per revolution or less. These die-cast aluminum encoders are available with up to 3600 pulses per revolution, and are designed for strenuous factory applications such as material handling, conveyor systems, process control and web control.

Kübler by Turck 2-inch encoders include a captive bearing design that provides dramatically longer bearing life and extra protection during encoder installation. The encoders offer an extremely high shock rating of 250 g, which allows them to continue functioning where other encoders fail, according to the manufacturer. These exceptionally heavy-duty encoders also feature some of the highest speed ratings (up to 12,000 RPM) and frequency responses (300 kHz) in the industry.
