Honeywell Process Solutions has announced it is partnering with industrial technology provider PAS Inc. to offer the Honeywell Automation Change Manager, the next generation DOC3000 electronic database management and documentation system that allows industrial plant personnel to document and track changes across various Honeywell and third-party automation systems. Previously, plant engineers had to manually research relationships between various databases, control language programs, and subsystem schematics. Automation Change Manager saves time by giving instant access to up-to-date information across all subsystems, allowing engineers, operators and maintenance technicians to spend less time researching data between systems and more time focusing on performance initiatives.
Automation Change Manager incorporates the PAS Integrity software to provide documentation and change tracking capability to Honeywells Experion Process Knowledge System (PKS) as well as Honeywells advanced solutions and third-party systems. Powerful new features include cross-reference reports that identify relationships between automation systems and browser-based views that offer data access over customer intranets and extranets.
