Liqui-Cel® Membrane Contactors have been used for over 10 years for transferring gases to and from liquids. Oxygen removal to 1ppb, and CO2 removal to 1ppm in pharmaceutical, medical/analytical, food/beverage, semiconductor and many other industries are common applications. For example, it is known that O2 negatively impacts many processes; it is corrosive and can oxidize materials. Additionally, CO2 negatively impacts performance of EDI and Ion Exchange. The contactors can also be used for adding gasses such as carbon dioxide, nitrogen and hydrogen to water as well as for humidifying gasses.

Designed to tolerate high pressures and temperatures, the contactors process flow rates from < 10/ml to thousands of gpm (hundreds of m3/hr). These innovative membrane contactors maximize contact area and fluid dynamics for the highest possible efficiency.

Liqui-Cel Membrane Contactors have a small footprint, low operating costs and are modular for easy expansion. The Liqui-Cel Contactors offer a compact solution for O2/CO2 removal without chemicals.

Liqui-Cel Contactors are manufactured by Membrana-Charlotte, a market leader in separation technology, which excels in the development and fabrication of specialty membrane products for a number of diverse applications. Learn more by visiting www.liqui-cel.com.
