India Regulator Flags 500 Plants for Quality Clean-Up

Plants that have the maximum risk due to non-compliance issues will be the priority

Drug regulators in India plan to inspect up to 500 manufacturing plants for quality issues, according to an article in The Economic Times. The government will be looking for compliance with good manufacturing practices.

The government has started with 200-250 facilities in the first round on a risk priority-basis, said an unnamed source.
