Canadian biotech Medicago Inc. will build a $245 million production complex in Quebec City as demand for vaccines grows, according to an article in BioSpace. The new facility will employ about 200 people by 2019.
Its new 44,000-square-meter complex will be located near its head office and will include research and corporate facilities. According to Medicago, the site will be able to make 40 to 50 million doses of seasonal flu vaccines per year.
