The makers of diabetes drug Victoza, Novo Nordisk, have suspended their $6 million partnership with celebrity chef Paula Deen in light of controversty surrounding her. Deen, who has Type 2 diabetes, was a spokesperson for Victoza and recently admitted to using racial slurs. She has also been accused of fostering a discriminatory work environment. Novo Nordisk is only one of several companies to reconsider their partnerships with Deen following these recent events and allgeations. Read the full story.
