Generic Drugmaker Actavis Quits China

CEO says business in China is "not worth the aggravation"

As reported by Bloomberg, Generic drugmaker Actavis Plc said it will end its presence in China because of the difficult business climate created by the Chinese government.

“If we’re going to allocate capital, we’re going to do so where we can get the most amount of return for the least amount of risk. And China is just too risky” said Actavis Chief Executive Officer, Paul Bisaro.
