CPhI Worldwide, pharma's largest annual trade event, has rescheduled the show back to a more traditional CPhI Worldwide calendar slot, taking place from Nov. 9-11 2021 at the original venue, Fiera Milano.
The in-person event for CPhI Worldwide 2020 was cancelled and the show was instead held digitally. The 2021 event was originally scheduled for Aug. 31-Sept. 2, 2021 in Milan, Italy. On Jan. 15, Informa Markets, the event organizers, made the decision to move the show back to the fall based on stakeholder feedback.
The new dates will also hopefully ensure COVID vaccination programs are well advanced, creating more certainty around international travel and ensuring the event is as successful as possible. According to Informa, all government and health authority recommendations will be followed and the show will utilize Informa AllSecure health and safety standards to ensure the event is as safe as possible.
