Sanofi to offer insulin for $35 a month

June 30, 2022

Sanofi is slashing insulin prices by over 60% for uninsured patients in the United States starting tomorrow.

Previously offered at $99 for a 30-day supply, the Insulins Valyou Savings Program will now offer a valid prescription for a total of $35 for a 30-day supply.

The savings program covers any Sanofi insulin, including Toujeo, Lantus, Apidra and Admelog.

The company also announced that they will be partnering with Direct Relief, a nonprofit humanitarian organization that provides emergency medical assistance and disaster relief in the U.S. and internationally, to help diabetes patients in underserved communities.

In other Sanofi news, the company shared that the FDA placed phase 3 studies of tolebrutinib in multiple sclerosis and myasthenia gravis on partial clinical hold as a result of drug-induced liver injury that was identified with drug exposure.
