Flow Meter Offers Two-Wire Technology

Honeywell announced June 11 that it is launching a new line of high-performance flow meters. The Honeywell VersaFlow line, which is debuting at this week’s Honeywell Users Group Symposium in Phoenix, features Electromagnetic, Coriolis, Ultrasonic and Vortex flow meters. Krohne, a highly respected maker of process devices, will manufacture the flow meters to Honeywell’s standards for quality, performance and reliability. The flow meters will be distributed and supported on a global basis through Honeywell’s existing sales and distribution organization.

Honeywell selected Krohne because of its worldwide reputation for quality and its 80-plus years of experience in designing and manufacturing flow meters. Honeywell VersaFlow meters are designed to provide accurate and reliable measurements for demanding applications across a range of industries:

  • The VersaFlow Electromagnetic Flow Meter is a general-purpose transducer suitable for a variety of measuring tasks and applications. It delivers the reliability, even when media changes rapidly, pH shifts, flows pulsate or large amounts of solids are present.
  • The VersaFlow Ultrasonic Flow Meter is designed for liquid applications and provides reliable flow measurements independent of conductivity, viscosity, temperature, density and pressure. The meter has three beams that generate measurements independently of flow profile.
  • The VersaFlow Vortex Flow Meter offers integrated pressure and temperature compensation in two-wire technology. It provides reliable measurement of operating, standard volumetric and mass flow.
  • The VersaFlow Coriolis Mass Flow Meter reliably measures mass flow, density, volume flow, temperature, mass or volume concentration. It can be installed regardless of pipe vibrations or other external influences.

Honeywell will begin accepting orders for its VersaFlow meters at the end of June. For more information about the Honeywell VersaFlow line, visit www.honeywell.com/ps.
