Meissner Filtration Products, Inc. introduces its new DeltaMax depth filter cartridge. DeltaMax is an absolute-rated all-polypropylene filter available with removal ratings of 0.5 µm, 1 µm, 3 µm, 5 µm, 10 µm, 20 µm, 40 µm and 70 µm. The filter’s unique spiral construction creates a gradient pore structure that maximizes service life and flow rates. DeltaMax filter cartridges are offered with an optional outer cage for applications requiring enhanced mechanical strength. Cartridges are available in lengths from 10 inches (25 cm) to 40 inches (100 cm), with configurations to fit existing housings. The filter is made without surfactants, lubricants, resin binders, adhesives, antistatic or release agents, or other additives. DeltaMax filter media meets the requirements for a non-fiber-releasing filter, per 21 CFR 210.3(b)(6). DeltaMax filters are ideal for clarification, polishing, bioburden reduction and prefiltration of a wide range of pharmaceutical, biological, cosmetics, microelectronics, beverage, water purification and chemical process applications.
