GlaxoSmithKline announced that Jack Bailey, President U.S. Pharmaceuticals, has decided to step down from his role at the end of the year.
Bailey will be succeeded by Maya Martinez-Davis, currently Regional President, Latin America Region at EMD Serono, Merck KGaA's biopharma arm.
Martinez-Davis has a track record of success in bringing new specialty care treatments to patients. Martinez-Davis will join GSK in mid-September and will assume responsibility of the U.S. Pharmaceuticals business at GSK on January 1, 2020.
