GSK poaches Boehringer veteran for drug development lead

GlaxoSmithKline has hired Chris Corsico from Boehringer Ingelheim. Corsico will become senior vice president development of GSK. 

Corsico, currently chief medical officer at Boehringer, will start at GSK in 2019 as the company changes up its research strategy. Corsico will report to research head Hal Barron.

Barron joined GSK at the start of 2018 as one of CEO Emma Walmsley's first hires.
