Sun Pharamceutical Industries is accused of conspiring with Mylan to to raise the price of asthma generics albuterol sulfate. The class action suit was filed by a grocery workers' union from New York in a Pennsylvania federal court last week.
The suit alleges that Sun and Mylan raised prices by more than 3,000 percent from October 2013 to April 2014.
The same union filed suits against Mylan and Sandoz that allege collusion on a price hike for asthma generic benazepril.
