A federal jury found Martin Shkreli guilty of three counts of securities fraud, but acquitted him of five other criminal counts.
A juror, quoted anonymously by the New York Times, said, "In some of the counts at least we couldn't find that he intentionally stole from them and the reasoning was to hurt them."
Shortly after his conviction, Shkreli took to YouTube, saying the mixed verdict was an "astounding victory."
Shkreli, free on a $5 million bail, faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.
