Kennedy Insists Trump Vaccine Commission Will Happen

Feb. 16, 2017

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. says the Trump administration still plans to assemble a vaccine safety commission to explore potential links between vaccinations and a host of disorders.

Last month, Kennedy claimed Trump asked him to lead a committee on vaccines safety and scientific integrity -- a decision that Trump's transition team later said had not been made. Now, Kennedy informed reporters attending a Washington, DC, press briefing that he is still in discussion with the administration regarding the assembling of a vaccine commission.

Kennedy has campaigned avidly against mercury in vaccines. In fact, he recently partnered with actor Robert De Niro to announce a $100,000 cash reward for anyone who identifies a peer-reviewed scientific study demonstrating that the mercury in vaccines is safe.
