Poison Drummer Cancer-free After Keytruda Combo

July 22, 2016

Poison drummer Rikki Rockett, diagnosed with oral cancer just over a year ago, has announced he is cancer-free after experimental treatment with a Keytruda combo.

Rockett had undergone several months of experimental immunotherapy at Moores Cancer Center. The treatment paired Merck's Keytruda with Incyte’s experimental IDO inhibitor, epacadostat.

Rockett says he now wants to encourage other people with cancer who would like to avoid chemotherapy and radiation treatments to consider trying immunotherapy.
