Mylan CEO Answers to Congress on EpiPen Pricing

Mylan’s CEO Heather Bresch will appear before the U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform on Sept. 21, 2016, where she will be questioned about how the company raised the price of the EpiPen to $600 for a two-pack, from $57 a shot when it took over sales of the product in 2007, according to Bloomberg.

“There is justified outrage from families and schools across the country struggling to afford the high cost of EpiPens,” said committee chairman Jason Chaffetz, a Republican from Utah.
