Layoffs Loom in Mylan Restructuring

Generic drugmaker Mylan announced that will be laying off "less than 10 percent" of its 35,000 employee workforce as part of restructuring efforts designed to streamline operations and cut costs.

Mylan, who has been under investigation for EpiPen price hikes, said in an SEC filing that it would disclose costs and other details of the restructuring as it finalizes the initiatives. The layoffs will be spread across all geographies and businesses, accoring to the company.
