Bayer May Kill Monsanto Name in Merger

Sept. 21, 2016

After it completes its $66 billion acquisition of Monsanto, Bayer may attempt to eliminate the stigma associated with Monsanto by simply changing the name, reports Bloomberg.

In a recent interview with Bloomberg TV, Monsanto CEO Hugh Grant seemed open to the idea when he said, “The key is less about the name and more about the products developed.”
