Cancer-Giant Roche Builds Tallest Skyscraper in Switzerland

Sept. 25, 2015

Roche has spent $575 million building a 41-story skyscraper in Basel, reconfirming its commitment to its headquarter city.

The new tower, which will house about 2000 workers, is visible from both France and Germany. Roche has plans to build a second, taller building in Basel by 2021.

Roche's new skyscraper is appropriately timed as rivals such as Bristol-Myers Squibb and Merck are developing promising new immunotherapies.
