GEN’s top 10 U.S. biopharma clusters include these top three regions — the San Francisco Bay Area, Boston/Cambridge, Mass., and San Diego. Those regions have usually headed any of a number of top-biotech-region lists published in recent years, says GEN. Next comes Maryland/suburban Washington, D.C., followed by New York, which placed at the middle of the list. Among the remaining top biopharma clusters were Seattle, Philadelphia, Raleigh-Durham, N.C., Los Angeles and Chicago.
