FDA Warns Two Indian Drugmakers for Manufacturing Practices

The US drug regulator has issued warning letters to Indian drugmakers Promed Exports and Posh Chemicals for violation of good manufacturing practices, raising to six the number of Indiabased drugmaking facilities against which action has been taken in the past three months. 
Indian drug manufacturing sites account for over 60% of all such warning letters sent out globally by the US Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER) in the past three months. Read more
