Amgen Increases Bid for Onyx Pharmaceuticals

Amgen Inc. boosted its offer for Onyx Pharmaceuticals to $130 a share, according to an unnamed source familiar with the matter. Onyx said in June that it was working with advisers to find a buyer after spurning an offer of $120 a share from Thousand Oaks, California-based Amgen. Read the full story
