Sage Pharmaceuticals Inc. of Louisiana has been told by the Justice Department to stop making and distributing drugs that have been deemed misbranded and unapproved by regulators. The facility was inspected February 2012 by the Food and Drug Administration and evidence was found that the company had been making and selling prescription painkillers and over-the-counter cold remedies and wound cleansers without FDA approval.
