Fosun Pharma Acquires Drug Distributor Tridem for $73M

Shanghai's Fosun Pharmaceutical Co. announced it would acquire French drug distributor Tridem Pharma for $73 million, according to South China Morning Post. The deal would expand its market share in Europe and Africa.

Tridem has a presence in 21 French-speaking African countries and regions, and Fosun Pharma says it could expand in that continent with the help of Tridem’s “mature sales network and upstream and downstream resources,” the company said.
