BMS to lay off nearly 150 in Connecticut

According to the Connecticut’s Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification system, the latest round of layoffs began in April and will run through August

Bristol-Myers Squibb's Wallingford, Connecticut R&D facility is planning on letting go of 149 employees as part of its plans to leave the state as indicated by information from the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) website.

The drugmaker will leave the state by the end of the year with and will concentrate expanding in other areas. Layoffs began in April and will run through the middle of August.
