Livingston’s GMP Whistleblower Case Dismissed Again, In Split Decision;Wyeth Cuts Sales Staff

A federal appeals court recently dismissed Mark Livingston's potentially precedent-setting lawsuit (background here) invoking Sarbanes-Oxley in connection with allegations of GMP non compliance. For more, read on.
His lawyer says he will appeal again, noting that it was a split decision. Meanwhile, news came today that Wyeth is laying off 1,200 of its sales people, prompting a number of comments on CafePharma including some highly critical of the company's CEO and his pay rate, etc. Rumors were first picked up by Peter Rost, and reported about two hours ago by Forbes et al No manufacturing or R&D positions were reported as being lost.
