The 2023 PDA Annual Meeting will spotlight the critical connection between patients and the manufacturing process. The Opening Plenary will feature Julia Jenkins, Executive Director, and Kelly Baker, Young Adult Rare Representative, for the EveryLife Foundation for Rare Diseases. Ms. Jenkins will report on a study estimating the economic impact of rare diseases in the U.S.; Ms. Baker will provide a patient perspective on living with a rare disease and deliver a history of home parenteral nutrition and how it has changed significantly for both patient safety and quality of life.
