Lady Gaga and Beyonce's GSK Song

Uberblogger Pharmagossip and the expert satirist Pharmagiles recently posted riffs inspired by the GSK whistleblower case, with Pharmagiles setting the lyrics to Harry Belafonte's famous Banana Boat Song. Click here for a view.

We're just a straight GMP blog and can't be frivolous....but during lunch hour, an anonymous reader suggested that the story needs a much more modern twist, and that words should be set to Lady Gaga's/Beyonce's smash hit, Telephone....and sent this in....

So here goes.

This would be the CEO responding to Ms. Eckard's call, of course. And please know that the views expressed here iin no way reflect the views of our company, publication, etc. etc. (For those who don't know what the song sounds like, here it is)

AMS

Hello hello minion, why are you calling me?

I don't have time to talk about cGMP.

Don't care what it means,  talk to compliance, QC .

These are not my problems and I'm kinda busy.  I'm kinda busy

Stop calling, stop calling, Don’t want to hear more from ya. Havin a dream 'bout  Avandia. Stop calling, stop calling,  Don’t want to hear more from ya. Havin a dream 'bout  Avandia.

Just a second ,  stock is  up, Bloomberg's gonna say....
I'm already on the phone with the WSJ.

Just been cited as a top CEO today....
Soon some will call me The Constant Garnier.

Stop calling, stop calling  Don’t wanna hear more from ya. Havin' a dream 'bout Avandia. .

Stop calling, stop calling,  Don’t wanna hear more from ya. Havin a dream 'bout  Avandia.

Clinical and R&D and markets I know best

Now just  please stop calling me, please don't be a pest.

These are tiny problems, and no one will get hurt.

Shareholders are on my mind, don’t wanna lose my shirt

Stop calling, stop calling, Don’t wanna hear more from ya. Havin a dream 'bout Avandia. Stop calling, stop calling,  Don’t wanna hear more from ya. Havin a dream 'bout  Avandia.

Second Refrain
You can call all you want, but I’ll never pick up, you’ll never reach my telephone
Gemba, schmemba, say what you want, you’ll never reach my telephone

Want servant leadership?  Go work in Japan.  I’ll never get that telephone
I’m happy here, miles away from the plant floor.
