This 8-page brochure outlines the functions and features of Sturtevant's Micronizer jet mill, which employs compressed air or gas to produce particles less than one micron. The Micronizer is offered in three models: Qualification (lab size, 1-7 grams/minute); Sanitary Design (USDA-accepted for pharmaceutical applications); and Open Manifold Micronizers (general industrial applications). They are available in diameters ranging from 2 to 42 inches, capacities ranging from 0.5 to 10,000 lbs/hr, and the ability to create product with a fineness of 0.5 to 45 microns.

Micronizers have no moving parts or jet nozzles. The system disassembles by hand, without tools, in minutes. Rental systems are available for in-house testing of proprietary powders, and the company can provide documentation to support FDA validation.
