Azerbaijan is often recognized for its wealth of oil, but has since become an attractive ground for global healthcare investors. The government of Azerbaijan has increased its healthcare budget more than 10 times in the past decade. It has also built or remodeled more than 500 healthcare facilities recently. As the population continues to grow, the future of Azerbaijan's healthcare system will depend on an organized and well-established public health sector. The state is gearing for universal welfare and other reforms to provide improved healthcare.  there is a considerable market for pharmaceuticals, especially in delivering high-quality, low-cost products.
