New Program to Help Former Big Pharma Employees Get Back to Work

The effort by the New Jersey Department of Labor to help retrain people who lost their jobs after recent consolidations by drugmakers is being financed with $980,000 from a $3.6 million federal grant that was awarded to the state three years ago that can be applied to any former pharmaceutical industry employee -- not just scientists -- who lost jobs at Merck, Pfizer, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Johnson & Johnson, and Roche.  Read the full story here.
