GlaxoSmithKline's pharmaceuticals chief Abbas Hussain will be leaving the company after not being chosen to succeed outgoing Chief Executive Andrew Witty.
Hussain, who spent eight years at GSK, was one of a few top Glaxo execs beaten by former consumer healthcare boss Emma Walmsley for the CEO spot.
Hussain will be replaced by AstraZeneca executive Luke Miels -- Walmsley's first external appointment as CEO-designate.
