July 26: The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette publishes an investigative article, reporting on how Mylan workers had systematically ignored quality control checks and “red screen” alarms.
A sidebar story details the red screen activity.
July 26-27: Mylan asks FDA to visit Morgantown facility; FDA visits immediately and finds, in Mylan’s words, that “baseless accusations in the article were unfounded.”
The Associated Press runs a story citing FDA sources, who say that the investigation is ongoing and that no conclusions have been formed as of yet.
July 29: Mylan issues press release saying it has “enhanced” its executive team.
