IBM Wins $1.4 Billion Contract to Manage AstraZeneca’s IT

Information Week has just reported that IBM has won a major IT contract, to handle server, storage, desktop and network management for AstraZeneca in 60 countries.  India's Tata Consulting Services has been giving IBM and other IT consultants quite a bit of competition lately, winning a major drug development data management project with GSK this past March and a major contract with Eli Lilly last November.
