A lighter look at Lean and Kaizen in every day life

If you've tired of hearing about Lean, Lean Six Sigma, Kanban, Poka Yoke SMED and other quality terminology on the job, found this entertaining contest on the Lean Manufacturing blog, which challenges you to come up with the best examples of lean and kaizen from everyday life.  My favorite so far: SMED (for single-minute exchange of diapers---as any parent can tell you, it requires that materials be organized and at hand in advance). -AMS
