Colder: Single-Use Sterile Connectors designed for greater process flexibility

Colder Products Company is unveiling AseptiQuik S small-format connectors and AseptiQuik X large-format connectors. Biopharmaceutical manufacturers now have access to a full line of robust, sterile connectors with flow configurations ranging from 1/8 inch to 1-inch. Colder experts will be available to demonstrate how they can easily incorporate the new connection technologies into their single-use applications.

“Manufacturers will benefit from the wide range of sterile connection whether taking a process sample or harvesting a 1,000 liter mixing system,” said John Boehm, business unit manager, bioprocessing markets. “The new expanded sterile connector sizes demonstrate our continued commitment to developing solutions for greater process flexibility and improved efficiencies.”

The AseptiQuiki S small format 1/8 inch and 1/4 inch connectors offer connections for small-flow applications and feature a genderless, easy-to-use design for reliable performance without the need for clamps, fixtures or tube welders. Applications include single-use bioreactors, cell banking, and a range of sampling applications. Terminations will include 1/8 inch hose barb, 1/4 inch hose barb, 3/4 inch sanitary and MPC male insert.

The AseptiQuik X large format 1-inch connector provides quick and easy sterile connections for high-flow applications, even in non-sterile environments. With this new connector, time to transfer large volumes of media is greatly reduced saving valuable time and improving process efficiencies. Applications include large format single-use bioreactors, mixers and transfer lines. Terminations will include 3/4 inch hose barb, 1 inch hose barb and 1-1/2 inch sanitary.

Colder’s bioprocessing connections are manufactured in an ISO Class 7 certified cleanroom and meet USP Class VI standards.
