Hamilton: EasyFerm Plus ORP Arc Sensor for biopharmaceutical and food applications

Hamilton Company, world leader in fluid measurement, will introduce the new EasyFerm Plus ORP (oxidation-reduction potential) Arc Sensor at Interphex 2012. Ideal for biotech, pharmaceutical and food processing applications that require frequent sterilization cycles, this new sensor delivers stable measurements of the reduction potential through oxidation in processing environments. The EasyFerm Plus ORP sensor features a pressurized internal reference electrolyte that keeps the liquid junction free of particulates. This sensor can be steam-sterilized, autoclaved or cleaned in place (CIP).

The new EasyFerm Plus ORP Sensor expands Hamilton’s successful Arc line, which has revolutionized process measurement by eliminating the need for transmitters. Arc sensors communicate directly with the control system, with both analog (4 – 20mA) and digital Modbus interfaces, delivering high-quality signals for reliable readings. The Arc technology also enables in-lab precalibration and configuration, reducing costs associated with installation and downtime.
