Clamp Varieties Are Fitting for Fittings

Now available from NewAge Industries are clamps for fitting attachment in three different styles: ear-type, worm-gear, and double-bond. The clamps are used in all sorts of industries, including laboratory, medical and pharmaceutical.

Clamps are usually a necessary part of the plastic tubing- and hose-buying process, because in most applications the tubing or hose must be attached to another component. Fittings accomplish this, but typically, they need to be secured with a clamp. To simplify the purchasing task, NewAge Industries has an assortment of clamps and fittings, ready for immediate shipment, to accompany its tubing and hose.

NewAge offers the unique and compact Oetiker ear-type clamping system in stainless steel and zinc-plated carbon steel. Oetiker clamps breathe to adapt to expansion and contraction, yet remain secure and tamper-proof. Because they’re lightweight and compact, the clamps are well suited to limited-space applications. Sizes range from 5/32” to 1-9/16” nominal O.D. Pincers for clamp installation are also stocked.

Worm-gear clamps offer easy installation – simply tighten with a screwdriver. Their stainless steel construction is durable, and a lined version is available for use with very soft tubing, such as silicone. Worm-gear clamps come in a wide range of sizes from 3/8” through 6” nominal diameter.

Another option is NewAge’s Kwik Clamp brand of nylon double-bond clamps. Manufactured from U.L.-listed, black, nylon 6-6, Kwik Clamps will not rust or corrode and are non-conductive. The patented double row of teeth ensures a strong bond that will not vibrate loose. No tools are needed for installation, and Kwik Clamps are reusable. Sizes range from 1/4” to 4-1/4” nominal O.D.

Fittings available from NewAge that warrant clamp usage include plastic- and brass-barbed type, cam-operated couplings, two-stage safety air couplers, and even certain styles of push-to-connect fittings, which are designed primarily for use with rigid tubing. Plastic and rubber tubing and hose is stocked by NewAge Industries in almost 30 varieties.
