Vendor Publication Targets Calibration Professionals

Beamex has introduced a corporate magazine called Calibration World. The magazine is designed for calibration professionals around the world; its main purpose is to provide insightful articles, tools, customer case stories, practical tips as well as relevant news and information for that audience.

The magazine is available in hard copy (to subscribe, visit Beamex's website or e-mail your full contact details to [email protected]) or it may be read online (visit www.beamex.com/calibrationworld) or downloaded from the website as a PDF file.

“There are not that many publications focusing on calibration and providing insightful articles on the subject," explained Raimo Ahola, managing director of Beamex. "As a leading worldwide provider of calibration solutions and with people who are highly enthusiastic about calibration, we considered it our responsibility to fix that issue.”

The first issue of Calibration World tackles some of the most demanding requirements calibration has presently. The requirements are set by corporate management, the calibration environment and regulatory authorities. The lead article of the first issue discusses how to improve productivity through better calibration planning. Another article examines calibrations in hazardous locations.
