Cognex's new DataMan 7500 Series of hand-held readers provides breakthrough reading of all printed and Direct Part Mark (DPM) codes. Cognex DataMan 7550 cordless handheld ID readerThe DataMan 7500 series handheld ID readers combine Cognex's IDMax code-reading software with a new patent-pending UltraLight illumination technology to read codes regardless of marking method, part material, shape or surface texture.

The DataMan 7500 corded model (above) supports USB, keyboard wedge, and RS-232 communications. The DataMan 7550 (at right) cordless model uses Bluetooth communications to connect to the DataMan intelligent base station. Both readers combine the highest performance Digital Signal Processor with a high-resolution (1280 x 1024) image sensor, rugged industrial design, simple set-up interface, and world-class ergonomics.
