Ozone Sensor Monitors Pharma-Grade Water Purity
To see enlarged version of above photo, showing Mettler-Toledo Thornton ozone sensor with 770MAX and 2000 instruments, click here.A new dissolved ozone sensor from Mettler-Toledo Thornton reliably monitors sanitization of pharmaceutical waters, according to the company. The sensor connects to the widely used Thornton 770MAX instruments that already measure conductivity/resistivity, TOC, dissolved oxygen, flow rate, pH, ORP, temperature, tank level and pressure. The availability of up to six channels of mix-and-match measurement parameters in the 770MAX reduces the cost and complexity of pure water monitoring and treatment systems. Where fewer measurements are needed, the ozone sensor may also be used with the two-channel Thornton 2000 instrument. The ozone probe provides reliable and accurate response and requires only infrequent, simple maintenance. It provides stable measurements both in normal ozonation ranges and near zero, after ozone destruction. To download Mettler-Toledo Thornton's new brochure for the pharmaceutical industry, click here.
