Shields recently stopped by our Putman Media offices to demonstrate his company's ProPress system, developed in a partnership with Ridgid Professional Tools. ProPress allows pharma, biopharma and other manufacturers to quickly and safely join standard widths of stainless steel piping for non-sanitary applications. The key to press technology, Shields notes, is that it uses a 360-degree sealing element to ensure a strong seal and fit for water, natural gas, and other needs. More information can be found here.
