Teva, Mylan Eye Pfizer's Generic Venture in Brazil

According to Reuter's sources, Teva Pharmaceutical and Mylan have shown early interest in a Brazilian generic drugmaking joint-venture, Laboratório Teut|Pfizer, in which Pfizer has a 40 percent stake.

India's Sun Pharmaceutical and three buyout firms have also expressed interest, said sources.

Brazil's Melo family owns the remaining 60 percent of Teuto|Pfizer, Latin America's largest pharmaceutical plant.
